Style and Fashion on the Golf Course

Women have been involved in golf for many years.  Until recently there was not much difference in the fashion for men or women.  The styles were similar as well as the colors.  The same old Polo shirts and dull khaki hues were considered fashionable.  That has all changed with the introduction of ladies fashions for the golf course.  Women golfers have started designer clothes for other women golfers to introduce fashion and color to the course.

You can find beautiful clothes in stylish fashions and colors.  These clothes were designed for the busy executive woman.  She can wear these trendy clothes in the office and right out onto the golf course.  Many women realized early in their careers that in order to gain the contacts some of the male executives were getting meant getting on the course and meeting people.  The drawback was the fashion sense was also directed towards the man.

Several women have started doing something about this.  There are many very feminine styles and colors to choose from.  From the cute sun dresses to the sophisticated collarless Tee's, these clothes were designed for women golfers by women golfers.

Some of the designers have been on the golf course since they were little.  These women grew up wanting to make a difference in the fashion industry.  These women have definitely done this very thing.  With soft flowing fabrics in beautiful colors, the woman golfer can become very stylish on the course.  The prints allow the women golfers to feel feminine in the executive world.

Some companies like PinkCaddi offer eco-friendly designs made from bamboo and organic soy.  These fabrics absorb and dry quickly.  Other styles in the PinkCaddi line include fashionable fabrics which are soft and yet durable to last all day.

Verdina carries the sophisticated look and classic styles.  Claudia Romana started designing her own line and carried it over to a business when other women golfers showed an interest in her designs.  Birdie, founded by Kate Sutton, offers short shorts, tanks, and mini-skirts.  All of the designs and colors are geared for comfort and style.

The ladies who designed these new fashions wanted the clothes to be comfortable, stylish, and able to be worn in the office and the club house.  They succeeded by fusing function with fashion.  The skirts, pants, and dresses are being received with welcome praise.  The added benefit is younger women are finding the styles fashionable enough to wear everywhere.  These younger girls are also getting interested in the game of golf.  The women golfers are getting just as serious about the sport as the men.  They just want to be more fashionable.  These new lines offer the women golfer exactly what they want.

Women like to look good.  Now they can look beautiful in pastels or stunning in the bright colors these new fashions offer.  Women golfers no longer have to stick to Polo's and khaki.  They can express their image with the clothing fashion available for the golf course.
